The Lesson is Detachment

She stood so long at the frontier of pain
that the joy of life was passing by.

The lessons forgotten,
that she had come to learn, in the agony of pain.
The pain overwhelmingly took from her the joy
the soul once knew.

to understand the Virgo sun.
